amb24697 0 Posted August 14, 2013 I get the pain behind my breast bone when I am full but I still have hunger pains in my stomach all day even after I just finished eating. Any ideas? Also, I am not following the diet because I can't find any Protein shakes that taste good. Any help is greatly appreciated.
anniemay 150 Posted August 14, 2013 Those hunger pains are probably gas. You need to find a way to get Protein if you want to be successful. Are you on soft food yet?
Ballermom 803 Posted August 14, 2013 Well my Nut told me that people end up back in the hospital sick because a lack of Protein. Syntax nectar has many flavors you can try BJ bariatrics, I get mine from the Vitamin Shoppe, and premier are my favorite. For the hunger and pain try a PPI Like Prilosec next call your Nut ASAP. Physician for the pain. Good luck!
amb24697 0 Posted August 14, 2013 Yes, I am eating soft foods. I did have problems a few weeks ago with reflux so I was wondering if it could be stomach acid instead of hunger. I am trying to to get Protein in but it's hard. Just trying to find a shake that taste good.

notime 340 Posted August 14, 2013 Once I went on soft foods, I never had a Protein Shake. You can get all your Protein from food. Try eggs fixed any way you like them, refried Beans with cheese, plain no sugar added fat-free Greek yogurt, Jello with fruit flavored protein mixed in as you make it, no sugar added hot chocolate made with milk, Carnation Instant Breakfast mixed with milk, tuna or chicken or salmon in cans or pouches, steamed or poached mild fish/seafood, nonfat or low fat cottage or ricotta cheese. There are lots of other things, but it has been a while so I don't remember all of them. Good luck. These symptoms won't last long. You can do this. 1 CoreyCan reacted to this
