wheeling 18 Posted August 13, 2013 Today started fine but is not going good. I was at work and my urine was orange! Drank a lot of Water and the urine got better. But what has me worried now is since I got home from work I constantly feel hard pressure on my bladder like I have to urinate but cannot. It is very uncomfortable. Any reason for this ? Any helps? Momonanomo 534 Posted August 13, 2013 You didn't say , but have you had surgery and if so, when? All things considered though, the discomfort sounds like a bladder infection, which won't get better on its own. Should probably see your doctor.
wheeling 18 Posted August 13, 2013 Surgery was on 6/19. Haven't had any problems until today. Should I go to the er?
cindymg 629 Posted August 13, 2013 Surgery was on 6/19. Haven't had any problems until today. Should I go to the er? Sounds like a good idea to me. If you are in pain and can't wait to see doctor in the morning, I say go.
becogolfer 68 Posted August 13, 2013 Orange urine could be just concentrated if you are dehydrated. It could also be a urinary tract infection. Since that will not go away on its own you probably should go see a doc and get checked out.
Sherri297 81 Posted August 13, 2013 It sounds like a urinary tract infection. The emergency room probably isn't necessary but it may not hurt to go to go to an urgent care type clinic. This probably isn't a complication from surgery but the previous poster is right, it won't go away on it's own if thats what this is it will only get worse. 1 Momonanomo reacted to this
wheeling 18 Posted August 13, 2013 Thanks people. Called my doctor office and they hooked me up with the emergency doc and he thinks its a urinary infection. I m going to Cvs for a pill he's calling in. Thanks for the help all
cejiogu 182 Posted August 13, 2013 Had one myself about 3 weeks out. Was drinking ok but still got it. Hang in there and I hope the antibiotics work. If it doesn't seem to work after 2days call back the doctor and get another kind. Not all UTI can be treated with just a basic med like amoxicillin. Bacterium and any sulfa based med is best. Or cipro.
devonmae 56 Posted August 13, 2013 I also had one about a month ago. I think a combo of the catheter and being dehydrated and my drinking enough Water to flush things out. A course of cipro and everythings fine!
