KayCTheNewMe 50 Posted August 12, 2013 The last month or so I have been craving any sort of veggie I can get my hands on but I know too much makes it very uncomfortable. What seems like a good amount to eat and which are easier than others?
TwinsMama 483 Posted August 12, 2013 I steam broccoli, cabbage, and green Beans. All the others make me sick. Maybe try and steam them really well. They get softer and may stay down better.
JessicaAnn 564 Posted August 12, 2013 Maybe some like cauliflower mashed up?
gamergirl 4,610 Posted August 12, 2013 I'm 10 days post op and am having no trouble with cauliflower, onion, and mushrooms--as long as they are cooked well and pureed well. I think the cooking well thing may have something to do with it.
cindymg 629 Posted August 12, 2013 Try making a veggie Soup or stew. I cook chicken with veggies like a stew, and the really soft veggies are easy to eat.
KayCTheNewMe 50 Posted August 12, 2013 I am going to try steaming more. We do get the steam veggie bags with no sauce but they are mostly still firm. Otherwise its saute or raw. I can eat almost any veggie but I don't do corn or hominy still. I just dont want to stop eating them because I actually like them now! Lol
