Nikki B 4 Posted August 11, 2013 I was sleeved July 9... But since surgery I have lost 23 lbs the last time I weighed myself. My issue is that since surgery I have been dealing with my uncles illness. He has stage 5 colon cancer and has been moved to Hospice. Since he has been moved I have been staying in the house with him and it had totally messed up my meals. This was very short notice so I couldn't plan. The food here is nothing of what I can eat and all the stores carry are muscle milk light. Does anyone have a recommendation on how to get back on my plan once I leave. I don't know what to do and I am afraid that what little I have had so far will stretch my stomach out again
SuzyB 182 Posted August 11, 2013 What is your surgeon's plan? I would look at that, figure out what week you are post op and follow it.
ribearty 544 Posted August 11, 2013 If you will be there for awhile, can you get some Protein drinks from costco, Sam's or Wal-Mart. Another option might be to order some online from Amazon and do quick shipping? Sorry to hear about your uncle and hope he does not suffer too much. 1 ProudGrammy reacted to this

This has been a bit of a curve ball for me so its becoming hard to deal with focusing on me and my uncle

My biggest fear was stretching my stomach out again. I left for two days and was able to get back on my plan and do my workouts but now I know to plan accordingly.
