I am actually late with this drain. It is stubborn. I was 3 weeks yesterday. It does not hurt at all just ready to get it out. In general I feel great. I am taking it slow yet doing normal stuff. Everyone is noticing so much.

Thanks for sharing that info Cowgirl Jane. Thank you all for your comments. Tfhere is a price list on his website. He does significantly discount for multiple proceedures. The price is different based on the procedure and time to be spent in the OR.

Today all of my sutures are out. I am 3 weeks out today. I still have one drain i am having trouble with, but i just need to be patient.

Found it.

I was checking out the website but I can't any type of price list... Where is it at?

I lost 140 pounds......overweight forever.

i thought i would never do plastics' date=' i have a great marriage to a man who has loved me no matter what. then i realized that as i got to a good weight that iknew in my head that i was a good weight, i wore a 10 and i could cover up what i needed to, but when i looked in the mirror it was the same body, only deflated.

So happy with the decision.

It has discomfort, but i will say i was pleasantly surprised it was not horrible painful, i am shocked. The girls that had Lipo were in more pain than me, and they did not have as much incision work as i had. i would do it again in a heartbeat tomorrow. Post op i only used motrin and tylenol for pain control. the compression garment has given me the most pain. I am tight and that is uncomfortable and hard to sleep at times.

All in all a great experience. I will get some revision work down the road. As it is he did lots of work, and had me on the table for 13 hours. I had LOTS of skin. I know it was to my benefit that I was in great shape, i became a gym rat and it helped the recovery and ethe results.

I know i liked seeing the changes in people.[/quote']

That's amazing. What an experience. I have to lose 178#'s. I will definitely do the chin. The rest gonna try to hide with spanks. Have you had an experience with spanks? Great job and congrats.

Looking Fabulous. Question if having plastics in Mexico for those of us who work. Who will fill out fmla forms for us ? Concern about time off work.

The surgeon there completes the forms. One woman that was there with me had hers completed for california.

I thought they usually did a Tummy Tuck across. I see yours is up and down. any reason for that? I have an up and down c section scar, so that may be better for me too. just don't know when I will be able to afford it after I hit my goal. Congrats!

Day 1 of pre-op liquid diet (3 weeks) and I'm having a hard time already. I feel hungry and just want to eat. I got the protein and supplements recommend by my program and having a hard time getting 1 down. My doctor / nutritionist has me on the following:
1 protein shake (bariatric advantage chocolate) with 8 oz of fat free milk 1 snack = 1 unjury protein shake (root beer) 1 protein shake (bariatric advantage orange cream) 1 snack = 1 unjury protein bar 1 protein shake (bariatric advantace orange cream or chocolate) 1 snack = 1 unjury protein soup (chicken) 3 servings of sugar free jello and popsicles throughout the day. 64 oz of water (I have flavor packets). Hot tea and coffee with splenda has been approved as well. Does anyone recommend anything for the next 3 weeks?

All I can tell you is that for me, it got easier after the first week. The hunger pains got less intense and I kind of got used to it and gave up torturing myself by thinking about food. But if you can, get anything tempting out of the house and avoid being around people who are eating. I sent my kids to my parents' house for two weeks so I wouldn't have to prepare meals I couldn't eat. After surgery, the hunger was totally gone.

I have my final approval from my insurance, only thing holding up things is one last x-ray needed, which I have scheduled for the fourth of next month, which is my birthday.
