Ok so tomorrow I'm going to be in the car for about 8 hours. I was wondering what I could take with me to eat. I'm still on soft foods and I'm having a hard time thinking of things I could bring that don't have to be kept refrigerated or cooked that have some Protein. I have not tried any Protein Bars yet because I haven't found any that are soft enough. I don't want to have to depend on eating out while on the road since the food can be so unhealthy. Any ideas are appreciated!

Can you bring a little cooler?? Yogurt, cottage cheese, SF pudding, SF Jello - things like that could all fit in a little cooler. You could bring a shaker bottle and your Protein mix, or pre mixed Protein drinks. Is it just for one day that you'll be traveling??

On the road you could get a scrambled egg, Soup etc.

Good luck!!

You will probably want a small cooler for Water at the very least, so include some premeasured scoops of Protein in individual sandwich bags.

I would also throw some string cheeses in there and some turkey Jerky. High protein!

I agree with the little cooler. We had to travel last week and I was on soft foods. I brought lots of light baby bel cheese. If you bring a cooler, in addition to what's already been suggested, you can bring deli turkey, deli ham, hard boiled egg, etc. With stopping to eat, I'd get the chili at Wendy's, kid's 4 count grilled chicken nuggets at Chick-fil-A, one of the Soups from Panera, Good luck and safe travels.

I got some of these little tuna kits. They don't need refrigerated. Also you can get Jello, pudding and applesauce cups that need no refrigeration.
