grandmacathy 30 Posted August 9, 2013 I have been waiting on my doctor to write the neccessity letter. In the meantime, I have been reading everything I can on sleeve surgery. I have been to the seminar and am so excited. I had my thyroid burned out with radioactive iodine about 13 years ago. Since then, my weight has steadily been climbing. Can't seem to regulate my pills. Anyone else have a similar story? How did you do at weight lose? I am worried I will not be able to loose.
Arts137 1,811 Posted August 9, 2013 It's not automatic. You'll work with your team and devise a program that will work for you. I cannot comment on the thyroid issue. Follow your program and you will lose weight...
saudisleeve 21 Posted August 11, 2013 Good luck with your procedure. You will love the sleeve. It is the best thing I have ever done. I have had no support groups or seminars only the doctor that performed the surgery and I only see him every three months and he checks my blood work and weight and the rest has been up to me. I was ready and I won't go back

saudisleeve 21 Posted August 11, 2013 No. Had it checked prior to the sleeve but it was all ok.
