Pre-op testing on Monday. What can I expect? Other than more of the stuff I listed in the link above?

well, you might have a series of things... labs, heart, lungs... but it's all good. And enjoy the scales...

I found them all intimidating, or at the very least, slightly humiliating. The only one I truly despised was the upper GI because they made me drink (slam) this horrible tasting chalky brew, "hop up on the table, Hon" (do I LOOK like I hop?!?!) and hold my breath for the scan. Then they made me roll over three times to coat my stomach while they scanned again. All the while I thought I was going to hurl. But that was the worst one for me. The tests are over quick, and once you have your surgery you forget about them. There's too much other stuff to be occupied by!
