I saw a friend a few days ago whom I hadn't seen in a couple of months. She was going on about how much weight I've lost. When we were leaving, she said, "You need new pants, yours look loose." I was laughing, because all of my slacks had been falling off so I had just gone and bought 2 pairs of new ones the day before and I was wearing one of them. I guess I should have gone down another size? LOL. I'm going to exchange the second pair for the next size down instead of wearing them. Actually I don't think they would fit quite yet, but hopefully soon!! I'm down 4 pants sizes since surgery in Feb! Down in tops and undergarments also.

Yay, Tes! The funniest thing to me is having to go down a size in your 'drawers'. For some reason I didn't realize my A** would be shrinking also. I knew I'd have to buy new pants, shirts, bras, i was even prepared for the shoes, but it still makes me giggle when I pull out an old pair I haven't thrown out yet and they are baggy and saggy in the rear and the leg holes hang sadly :) I too try to buy 'one size small' so that I can get the most out of my clothes as I'm still losing. I will wear them tight to too big. It's a great feeling :)

Whats funny to me about my baggy jeans is how long the front pockets really are. I guess my huge gut was holding up my cell phone coz now it goes so far down my leg its annoying so I have to hold my phone in my hand while I walk on my breaks and listen to podcasts.

Just been waiting until time for my consult with my bariatric surgeon. It's scheduled for Jan 9th. Turns out I won't actually be seeing him. Apparently it'll be with his P.A.             Not sure what to expect. I thought this is where the surgeon would discuss the best surgery option for me. For years I had my heart set on the sleeve, but I've read so many people have issues with reflux - even if they've never had it before - that they've had to be revised to the bypass. I already deal with GERD & take 40 mg of Omeprazole daily, so I started studying about bypass and honestly, it seems like it might be the better choice for me. How can we discuss surgery options if the surgeon is not there?
What happened at your first consult? Trying to get an idea of what to expect, or maybe I should say, what NOT to expect.
