VSG Tommy B 10 Posted August 7, 2013 I keep forgetting to take my calcium citrate and can't take it with my Multivitamin because it contains Iron. Is there a pill or chewable multivitamin that also includes all of the Calcium citrate we need? I know Celebrate has a powder drink combo of the two, but I don't really care for it. If not, any recommendations for a chewable multivitamin that does not contain iron and for an iron supplement? Thanks!
SerendipityHappens 1,594 Posted August 7, 2013 I solved the problem by buying a multivitamin without Iron. Now I take my multi and my Calcium with my meals.. then my Iron before bedtime. I take Bariatric Advantage capsules.. no iron.
TwinsMama 483 Posted August 8, 2013 I was told the body can only absorb so much Calcium at once. So to always wait 2 hours between your multi (iron or no iron) and your calcium. My Nut said to never take the 2 together. Maybe ask your Nut or Dr about it.
