Georgia 2,908 Posted August 13, 2013 It was' date=' it was Awesome! I am trying to pretend I feel bad for being so off the rails eating-wise, but I don't feel bad in the slightest. It was a great day...and life is short, so you gotta grab the great days when they come along. I enjoyed it all thoroughly.[/quote'] I Laughing Out Loud At you, Swizzly! I wanted to hate those Russell Stover Pecan Delights I ate on vacay but I couldn't ! All is well now, though, so a few treats on special days won't kill us
FishingNurse 1,211 Posted August 19, 2013 Eeek... I feel like a freak here sometimes. I eat 2000 cals everyday... And I will continue to do so until my weight goes up even a bit. Remember it takes 3500 calories not burned to gain one pound!! And most ladies burn 1500 calories a day minimum, without excersise. No need to stress! 6 Fiddleman, Ms skinniness, Banned member and 3 others reacted to this

Even Small amounts over result in weight regain. At three years out I have made adjustments to learn how to handle maintenance once I get back to my original goal of 150. Around 155 now. Jealous of your 2000 and probably much more physical exercise than me. I try and usually walk at least 2 very brisk miles 3-4 times a week but that's it an cant see that changing so diet is a result. 2 Ms skinniness and Globetrotter reacted to this

Not if your TDEE or Base metabolic rate is between that range and you are not eating more than those. My goal is 1200 a day. My base rate 1300 something. If you don't know what your rates are here's are links for both http://www.bmi-calculator.net/bmr-calculator/ http://thefitgirls.com/tdee-calculator.aspx

Fiddleman 4,376 Posted August 21, 2013 First calculator stated 1808 for BMR Second calculator stated 1574 for BMR and 2715 for TDEE. Wow - does this mean I need to be eating 2400 calories a day to have a healthy metabolism (lose or almost maintain)? Not going to happen for both physical and lifestyle choices. Ms skinniness 3,003 Posted August 21, 2013 My BMR is 1328.05 on the first and 1322 with a TDEE of 1817 on the second. MY BMR's are very close with the two calculators. If I actually eat that many calories, I will for sure gain weight.
