chickadee73 57 Posted August 5, 2013 I have tried to assure him I will always be built like this no matter what the results of surgery -- I've always had T&A (a little more A than T to be honest), and no surgery will change my basic build, you know? To be clear, he is being nothing but supportive since I made the final decision. But he gave me his opinion when asked, and his opinion is that I am perfect just as I am and he prefers bigger gals. I just hope he doesn't miss the old body, and hoping the new attitude and feeling of accomplishment and self-esteem makes up for it. Anyone married to a chubby chaser? Did he do OK after you lost some of your curves? 1 zoey1176 reacted to this

Momonanomo 534 Posted August 5, 2013 i am! I assured my husband too that i will never, could never, be a stick figure like the run way models. We agreed that the sexiest thing is for me to feel good and feel healthy. I have asked him that as i get closer to goal please tell me if he thinks i am getting too thin. I have a ways to go before that could even possibly be an issue! But if/when the time comes, I believe we have control over fine tuning our weight loss and can go into maintenance when we choose to by adding back some higher calorie foods if needed. Your husband loves you for more than just your body. He will love your new healthier body too. especially when you are able to stand on your head & swing from the chandeliere to please him, if you know what i mean! beebs13 48 Posted August 5, 2013 My surgery is scheduled for 8/29. I have the same exact worries. My husband looooves my body how it is now. He says I'm perfect. He has also been very supportive of my decision to be a healthier mom and wife. I also so not think I will ever be a stick figure. I have thick legs and thighs that I've always had even when I weighed 140 lbs 13 years ago. I understand you because I also worry about him not liking what he sees. 1 1gorgeousgodzilla reacted to this

Deakay 15 Posted August 6, 2013 I have an ass and a man that loves it I am still losing slowly but surely. He tells me to do whatever makes me happy and that I can't hide my beauty......and it is true. Over 90lbs gone and my shape is the same....I am a PAWG with juicy thighs and I let him worship at my alter. I keep hoping that my general shape will remain the same as I lose weight (minus some lumps and bumps of course) and you're giving me hope. Obvi Im not a PAWG, but in an interracial relationship. While my boyfriend is supportive, he has some concerns that I will magically transform a waif. Ive told him I essentially had the same shape my entire life, there's just more or less of it. At the end of the day, I'm doing this for ME-so adjust accordingly or spare me the drama. I have enough going on. 2 Dannipo and chickadee73 reacted to this
Nicolanz 1,484 Posted August 13, 2013 Oh my man loves a thick woman too! Now that I've lost weight, he's all over me! He loves me and I think my new found confidence and happiness is what has him even more attracted to me. Plus, sex is a lot better now!
MrsAnders 34 Posted August 14, 2013 I also have this fear. My husband is really supportive but he has never been shy about the fact that he likes my curves and prefers them. I honestly don't know how I will look when I lose the weight. I have always been overweight even as a child. He assures me that he will love me no matter the number on the scale, but I worry! I'm glad I'm not the only one who has this fear.
