ThinnerTiff 172 Posted August 4, 2013 Im going to visit my family for my 11 year old sisters birthday party. I want to tell my family then that im pregnant. I was going to give my parents a card with a sonogram it and then the rest of the family will know. But they will be suspicious on why im giving them a card too on my sisters bday. So I was thinking after I give my sister her gifts...I was then going to plan on saying "wait one more card"and have her open the card and its a aunt card and have her read it. But was wondering whats ur guy's ideas are. I would have a card for my parents as well. I just want the best way to tell them and the most creative. This is going to be there 1st grand child. Ideas!!!! Thanks

No game 14,437 Posted August 4, 2013 I like the idea of giving the card to your parents.. You can wait until your sister opens all of hers then say something to the effect of having one more card but to your parents because they deserve recognition for being great parents??? 1 READY4CHANGE2013 reacted to this

lsereno 2,525 Posted August 4, 2013 You could give her an Auntie cup as one of her birthday presents. Then share the sonogram with your folks and whoever. Love Laura's idea too if you want to tell your parents first. Lynda 2 READY4CHANGE2013 and No game reacted to this
JoiaRox 430 Posted August 4, 2013 A lot of people Celebrate the mother of the birthday child - after all, it was quite a day for her, too! You can give a card to your mother, framing it with "and because this day is a celebration of your hard work, too, I have a card for you!"

JackieV 246 Posted August 4, 2013 I think it's great that your far enough along to share the news but I don't think I would do it at your sisters party. Let her enjoy her day. Once you announce the pregnancy all the attention will shift to you. You will have 31 more weeks to spill the Beans, however this party is in celebration of her and I think it's important that she is the sole focus of the day. sarsar 824 Posted August 4, 2013 You could give them pink and blue carnations or bags with pink and blue m&m's in them when you give them the cards.

Sleevin'It 57 Posted August 4, 2013 I like the idea of giving your sister an aunts card and the sonogram. While she's opening the card, hand one to your parents. If she's confused, ask your parents to open their card too. So exciting to share your big news! Congrats to you and happy birthday to your sister! 1 ThinnerTiff reacted to this
