That definitely sounds weird...who were you working with? I know some of them charge an extra fee if you use a credit card, but I've looked into quite a few surgeons and none of them ever said I could't use a card. I know the coordinator I'm working with would let me use a credit card, no problem.

If you mother-in-law will let you use her card, that'd be great! Yay! This is so going to happen for you. :)
