melis56914 26 Posted August 2, 2013 We are moving in Oct but my kids are going to stay with my parents next weekend to start school there instead of switching in 2 months. I have to meet my mom half way instead of either of us driving the whole distance, but once I drop them off I will be by myself (other than my 3 year old). Round trip it will be about 13 hours... so my question what type of things can I take to snack on once I get tired and have to stay awake til I get home? The only non-messy thing I can think of is grapes. Please help!
butterfly_gal 151 Posted August 2, 2013 I don't know how draw our you are but nuts, Jerky, Protein Bars are good. You could always do a cooler with hard boiled eggs and yogurt.

Reigo 111 Posted August 3, 2013 Grapes are high in sugar so don't know if they are a great option. There's a low carb pita with only 50 calories if you are allowed to have that, make a turkey and cheese pita with mustard and light mayo. If you can't, just make deli eat and cheese Roll ups and pack in a small cooler, along with a RTD Protein Drink, bottled Water and some almonds. All easy to eat and drive.
