LadyTMoo 1 Posted August 2, 2013 I have PCOS and have been in the process of getting my insurance to approve my surgery. I haven't talked to my GYN about it because I haven't been to see him since my yearly exam. Should I call and let him know that I am having surgery soon? He didn't want to put me back on a birth control pill when I saw him last because of the PCOS.. But I wonder if he will since chances of pregnancy may increase... Any advice? beautifulnewme2012 164 Posted August 3, 2013 I would definitely call and let him know your surgery plans. It never hurts!
CJsmom84 90 Posted August 3, 2013 I would talk to him because you don't want to get pregnant and what your doing will reduce your pcos I'm pregnant and I had pcos, my first 28n cycle was in January after my surgery in Dec. So definitely need to get it if they don't then find a new gyn. Sent from my EVO using VST
