sarsar 824 Posted August 1, 2013 LOSE is the word to use when you are trying to LOSE weight. LOOSE is the word to use when your clothes are getting LOOSE while you are losing weight. LOSING is the word to use when you are in the process of LOSING weight. LOSER is the word to use when you think you are a slow LOSER. LOOSER is the word to use when your pants are LOOSER than they were before you lost weight. No, I am not the grammar police. Yes, you can search my posts and I am sure you will find many grammar errors. Seriously, this is a weight loss forum and it drives me crazy when people do not know the difference between lose and loose. Ok, my rant is over... 18 North_Chicky, LipstickLady, LifetimeLoser and 15 others reacted to this

LifetimeLoser 208 Posted August 2, 2013 omgeeeee. Every time I read people's post that say, "why am I a slow looser?"...gah it drives me up the wall! I understand, totally. I've always wanted to be like...it is loser...looser is like when something is not so tight, but never did. Thank you for posting. bwuahahahaha this is a weight loss forum so we should know the difference between loser, looser, losing etc. I mean it is on the mind 24/7 and part of the daily vocabulary. 2 newat52 and sarsar reacted to this

supbanana 153 Posted August 2, 2013 This is one of my biggest pet peeves, but I admit I've seen people mistake the two for so long that whenever I type out that I'm losing weight I second guess myself and have to make sure I don't really mean loosing. Argh. 1 sarsar reacted to this
Sydney Susan 333 Posted August 2, 2013 While we're on this topic can we have a quiet chat about they're (they are), there (a place or direction), their (belonging to a person), where (a place or time), we're (we are) and were (reference to a past tense event). That's all I'm saying. 6 LipstickLady, newat52, BethinPA and 3 others reacted to this
