5:2 and fitness, staggering your routine to match your intake?

Hey everybody,

So as I mentioned in another thread, I am doing the ADF, Alternate Day Fasting version of 5:2, it just works better for me psychologically, don't know if there will be any advantage loss-wise.

Does anyone have opinions/advice on whether I should stagger my workouts to match my caloric intake? Like, should I save intense cardio for feed days, or do high intensity cardio on fast days on purpose, or does it even matter?

The book and other sources say that working out on fast days is a good thing... before eating. Then have a low cal Protein Drink or snack after your workout. When your in fat burning mode (glycogen is all used up from fasting all night) you will use more fat during exercise as fuel.

Good to know. I've been prone to EAT then exercise some times.
