loseitsoon 157 Posted August 1, 2013 I had my sleeve done Jan 9, 2013. I have been following all the rules, weighing and measuring all my foods. I do some exercise but need to work on that. I try to keep my carbs under 80 and my Protein over 80. I use LoseIt and MyFitnessPal to track every bite. I have been losing steadilly since my prediet although I have really slowed down this summer as I am getting closer to my goal weight. So when my husband and I decided to go on a 2.5 week car trip out west I got very nervous! No scales, no computer, no gastric sleeve forum to read everyday to help keep me going. I was so happy when we returned yesterday to find I had lost 2lbs! This is the first vacation I have ever gone on that I didn't gain weight!!! I didn't track my food, or weigh it on the whole trip. I did share most of my meals with my husband, or I ate the leftover protein for the next days Breakfast. I had a little ice cream almost everyday and a half a small bag of chips everyday. I tried to keep track of my protein in my head and most days I got it all in. I am back on track again today and will keep working to get the rest of the weight off. I have now lost 64lbs! I thought my pants were a little loose today so I went to a store and bought my first pair of size 10 in over 40 years. Thank you my sleeve! 7 NewSetOfCurves, Houston17, angied and 4 others reacted to this
Tiny One 223 Posted August 1, 2013 It's ok to losing up a little for vacation as we deserve it. As long as we don't get out of control & get right back on track when we return home. You should be proud of yourself. Good job.
