KatieOkieDokie 171 Posted July 31, 2013 I was sleeved three and half months ago. I have lost 54 lbs, this is with a month stall during my second month. I am 6 lbs from being under 300 lbs! This was one of my major goals! I cannot lie at first I had my moments when I regretted my decision. But now I am so thankful!! I still have a long way to go but I know I can do it! Also I'm having some issues with my head telling me I can't do things (walk etc.). I'm working on that! Oh I am finally able to shop at regular stores, and not just online. However, I am having some issues finding clothes because I am too short! Now I cry in the changing rooms because all the jeans are too long on me. Too bad I can't have surgery to stretch my legs..lol 2 ProudGrammy and NewSetOfCurves reacted to this
Daydra 345 Posted July 31, 2013 Congratulations on all your hard work! I did my first sprint distance triathlon at about 315. You can do anything you put your mind to. As far as pants being too long, they seem to be making them longer now. I used to have to buy talls, but now talls are usually too long. At least it's quick and easy to run a hem! Best of luck! 1 NikkiV1986 reacted to this

I always wore clothes that did not fit properly and my VERY HETERO brother came for a visit from FLA and said 'you're buying the wrong clothes, you need petite sizes'. I laughed and said 'this body is HARLY petite'. My brother took me shopping and that was that. He was about 25 at the time, I was 23. I never realized Petites was a body style and not a 'size'
