AmyInOrlando 348 Posted July 31, 2013 I'm packed and ready for my trip. My backpack weighs about 10 pounds. Will that be too heavy? I have a weekender, it's heavier but it's on wheels. I'd rather just use my backpack. Will 10 pounds be too heavy?
tenderstorm 0 Posted July 31, 2013 My Doc said nothing heavier than a gallon of milk.
southernsoul 773 Posted July 31, 2013 My Doc said nothing heavier than a gallon of milk. Mine said the same thing, and that was for the whole first two weeks.
Pixie Dust 526 Posted July 31, 2013 Same with me. Nothing heavier than a gallon of milk. Can you try to lighten the load? Or maybe what you have in your backpack now, maybe you can squeeze into your wheeled bag on the way home? They also sell backpacks on wheels. I may be confused, are you taking the weekender along with the backpack? If not, I'd take the one on wheels. That can be brought on the plane with you anyway. BTW, that is one cute puppy!! Is it a Bichon Frise? We just got one of those a few weeks ago. Good luck to you!
piercedqt78 658 Posted July 31, 2013 a gallon of milk is 8 pounds fyi, I had the same restriction. If you ask the flight attendant will put it in the overhead for you.
srs82781 83 Posted July 31, 2013 My carry on was about 5 pounds and felt like 50 on the way home. I had to stop and put it done every few feet... Definitely recommend something with wheels if you can. (I'm guessing by the name you live in Orlando? Me too!) 1 AmyInOrlando reacted to this
AmyInOrlando 348 Posted July 31, 2013 Thanks... I didn't want to unpack my backpack, so I just put it in my rolling weekender. I'm so OCD... everything is neat in it's own little compartment. 1 gamergirl reacted to this
