JoannLz 62 Posted July 30, 2013 Has anyone tried them? Body wraps? And did they work for you. I want to give em a try for the extra skin I have. 1 TwinsMama reacted to this
Mrs.RRn 2,111 Posted July 30, 2013 Usually body wraps are only temporary. For instance, if you were attending a wedding and wanted to look extra good in your new dress, then yeah, go for it. The results typically last a few days (the wraps I'm familiar with anyway). The main way they work is they dehydrate your skin, leaving you smaller by having lost Water. Now, maybe some sort of compressive, hydration wrap might help long term with the elasticity of skin?? Not sure about a different type, sorry. 1 TwinsMama reacted to this
JoannLz 62 Posted July 30, 2013 Yah I know they do the dehydrating. And that was my main concern I'm mean since we are more prone to dehydrate a lot faster.
TwinsMama 483 Posted July 30, 2013 I used to do wraps before I did surgery. I liked how they worked...but at the time I was drinking over 100 oz of Water daily. They will dry you out. My results tended to last, however I was going regularly so that could be why it seemed they lasted a long time. I suggest getting them sparingly when you have an event or need to drop water weight. But long term, it won't get rid of your excess skin. 1 Mrs.RRn reacted to this
laceeb 27 Posted July 30, 2013 I tried them but like so many other gimmicks, they arent worth the money.
