I started my journey back in March. After meeting all of the prerequisites that my insurance requires, I was finally approved today! I will be sleeved on August 13. I start my pre-op diet tomorrow. I am both excited and nervous at the same time!

Congratulations!!! Who many months you had to do before being approved?

I was approved after 4 months. I had to do the Psych, Cardiologist, 3 months nutritionist, sleep study ( 2 times ) and Endoscopy. I have Cigna, it took almost 2 weeks for approval once all of the information was submitted.

You have NO IDEA how happy you just made me. i too have cigna a and am into my first week of the 2nd month of weight loss supv. I have my gastro, pulmo and cardio appts this month. I believe my 3 month diet will be over in September. I already had the psych eval. I am sooooo nervous that a glitch will come up.

Hi that's wonderful I'm also waiting for approval and I'm also anxious and nervous as well because I hear all the stories. I wonder if its a good idea to read all the stories if gas, bad breath bad stomach aches from eating certain things. I don't know I guess I wait and see.
