Thank you all so much for your advice! I feel like the hardest thing so far has been #1 telling myself I need this and #2 telling my husband. He is beyond wonderful with everything but it was just hard to admit I can't do this myself - that I felt weak admitting that, but he assured me it takes a lot of heart to say hey, I need help here and he will support me any way possible. I figure if I can get over that hump, I can get the payment part figured out too!

My insurance plan states it does not cover WLS or anything related. Unfortunately that also means life saving measures due to WLS. My lapband complications cost me $100,000 and they wouldn't even allow it under medical necessity even though I died twice.. And obviously revived ;)

Be prepared that your carrier will not cover complications if it's stated in the policy.
