Nicolanz 1,484 Posted July 29, 2013 For the past 4 or 5 weeks I've been going up and down the same 3 pounds! One day I'll be 204 and the next I'll be 207! I weigh at the same time every morning when I wake up. Do you think there could be something medically wrong? I have kicked up my workouts with lots of strength training this month. I have a calorie deficit of 1000-1200 everyday. I hope it's just something as simple as Water retention.
newat52 1,613 Posted July 29, 2013 I really think it's God's warped sense of humor! That is exactly what has been happening to me for the last 2 months. Down 3, up 2, down 2 up 3! I'm never really sure how much I am losing. That is how I have gone through the 160's. It started when I hit about 170 and it's been too hard to figure out what the loss is. This morning I just wanted to pick up the scale and throw it through the window. Yesterday I stepped on the scale and it broke 160 finally! 159.9! I thought I was gonna pee myself I was so happy! I glide happily through the day with my feet almost not touching the ground. Have not seen 15anything since high school! Of course, so today, step on and should have known, 162.4 WTF?? Seriously?? What makes it so frustrating is that I'm in that area of going from Obese to overweight and I want it so bad. I need to hit 163. I finally gave in an updated my ticker since I had two days in a row of under 163. I mean, the pounds are inching off, but it' not like I can say oh, I lost 2 pounds this week or even 1 pound. It just creeps down and up but down finally does win and then I have a new set of numbers to fight with. I don't know if this helps you or not but you're sure not alone and I just have to think God is getting a good laugh! lol!
Nicolanz 1,484 Posted July 29, 2013 Well it's good to know it's normal! Haha! I have 5-6 pounds until I'm out of the obese category (I'm tall). So I think you're right, God has an interesting sense of humor!
