JessicaAnn 564 Posted July 29, 2013 Been in a stall for almost 2 weeks. I can feel my clothes getting loose, and I know I'm doing what I'm supposed to, so hopefully the scale moves soon. Honestly, do you guys see a difference? Starting weight in January: 299 Day of surgery (July 3): 289 Current weight (July 29): 262 Don't mind the messy hair or shlumpy appearance lol. I'm a severely tired momma who hasn't slept a full night in almost 2 years! And a current head shot.. 1 Heyher reacted to this

I find that when I am in a stall- like now- I think I am still loosing inches even though the scales are not moving. What do you think?

gamergirl 4,610 Posted July 29, 2013 Just edited the pics, maybe it's easier to look at this way.. I see a smaller stomach and a much-better defined waist! Yes, there's a difference. Congratulations! 1 light_lady reacted to this
NewSetOfCurves 1,553 Posted July 29, 2013 You're doing awesome! I stalled for two weeks in my first 4 weeks, but continued dropping the inches. Don't worry about the stalls, they'll come and go, just keep doing what you're supposed to and you'll be fine!
JessicaAnn 564 Posted July 29, 2013 Thanks everyone! It's a little disappointing when I get on the scale every morning and it isn't moving. I've actually been losing/gaining the same 2lbs for almost 2 weeks. But I'm getting all my Water and Protein, and I'm walking everyday, so I'm sure the scale will move eventually! Cajunlady12 49 Posted July 29, 2013 I am a pre-op and I definetly see the difference in your stomach, waist and arms. Great job. I have been told not to weigh myself everyday after surgery, but I am sure I will be doing the same thing. Keep up the good work.
Oakleygirl 53 Posted July 29, 2013 I'm 3 weeks out today and broke my week long stall by upping calories, Protein, and carbs a bit... i think my body was in starvation shock from the first two weeks! If you can up your Protein even, that might help... going from 55 to 60 g protein to 80 to 90 g protein seemed to do it for me. BTW, your arms are like shrinking and you look great... don't get discouraged... this is a marathon, not a race and you will need "stalls" at various points to catch your breath! Vegasme 30 Posted August 4, 2013 My dr told me your body is changing the most dutiful the times you are not losing at all on the scale . I'm lost 17 lbs my 1st week but haven't lost a pound this week ( scale just keeps playing with 2-3 lbs). Weird to plateau this fast ??
pwest 2 Posted August 5, 2013 I can tell a difference for sure. Keep up the good work! I am on a three week stall. I just keep telling myself that it will pass but it's getting frustrating. I never eat above 750 calories. I am almost two months out and have only lost 26 pounds. Maybe I expect too much too soon but I feel like during this stall that my clothes are getting loser. You're pictures are encouraging because I can definitely tell a difference. Are these ictures taken during your stall period?
