I swear ever since I had my surgery 6 weeks ago I her been so absent minded amongst other things!

I accidentally took my BC twice this morning! I took next sundays BC! I bought a pill box so I can easily just take my pills without having to sort it all every morning and without thinking about it after I took my pills I looked at my BC package and saw it said Sunday and I was like oh I didn't take it and then after I took it realized omg yes I did! This is next Sundays!

Anyone have any ideas what I should do???? I have been on the pill for a very long time and this is the first time doing this! Uuuuggg!

Thanks in advance!!!

Very early on I was told that I would need to find a new BC method because the pill will no longer be effective post surgery due to my new stomach it would no longer be as effective. So I changed it to the IUD before I had surgery.

Thanks ladies. I actually have my tubes tied and take the seaonique pill so I can skip my periods. I was just worried taking 2 pills would make me sick and I wasn't sure what to do.

I know my subject isn't Really sleeve related topic. Thanks for the advice!

I don't think two pills will make you sick. I have a habit of forgetting to take mine and my doctor tells me as long as it is within forty-eight hours of the missed one, to just take two. I have never been sick or had any problems. Of course, as with all non-medical advice, your mileage may vary.

Because of problems with my hyperplasia, my doctor was trying to get my period under control after my blood transfusion. She had me take 4 bc pills a day, for 2 weeks straight and I never got sick. You'll be fine!

Day 1 of pre-op liquid diet (3 weeks) and I'm having a hard time already. I feel hungry and just want to eat. I got the protein and supplements recommend by my program and having a hard time getting 1 down. My doctor / nutritionist has me on the following:
1 protein shake (bariatric advantage chocolate) with 8 oz of fat free milk 1 snack = 1 unjury protein shake (root beer) 1 protein shake (bariatric advantage orange cream) 1 snack = 1 unjury protein bar 1 protein shake (bariatric advantace orange cream or chocolate) 1 snack = 1 unjury protein soup (chicken) 3 servings of sugar free jello and popsicles throughout the day. 64 oz of water (I have flavor packets). Hot tea and coffee with splenda has been approved as well. Does anyone recommend anything for the next 3 weeks?

All I can tell you is that for me, it got easier after the first week. The hunger pains got less intense and I kind of got used to it and gave up torturing myself by thinking about food. But if you can, get anything tempting out of the house and avoid being around people who are eating. I sent my kids to my parents' house for two weeks so I wouldn't have to prepare meals I couldn't eat. After surgery, the hunger was totally gone.

I have my final approval from my insurance, only thing holding up things is one last x-ray needed, which I have scheduled for the fourth of next month, which is my birthday.
