In a super busy wife, mother of four, student and teacher. I don't know what I'd do with the alarm click in my phone. I'm having trouble getting on a good schedule for my Vitamins. Can somebody share what works for you??

It depends on how far out you are from your surgery. I'm four months out and can take my regular Vitamins and pills anytime. However, when I was first sleeved, I had to wait until I was eating solids. Then, I had to wait at least 45 minutes between vitamins and pills.

I was required to start all of my Vitamins right after surgery.

Morning:

Multi-Vitamin w/ zinc and sublingual B12

Lunch:

Calcium 600 with 800 D and B1

Dinner:

Calcium 600 with 800 D

Bedtime:

Iron 65mg and Vitamin C

My surgeon also prescribed folic acid and prilosec. Luckily i had no co-morbitaties so the only daily med i take is for my ADHD and when I can start my BC again. I am almost 3 weeks out. I bought a weekly pill organizer that allows you to remove each day and take it with you. I take my morning ones before Breakfast. My lunch ones before lunch. My dinner before dinner and my bedtime at bedtime. This is not always at the same time everyday. I usually take them with something besides Water. Milk, juice, crystal light.. Whatever. It hides the taste a little bit. My multi and calcium are pretty large. the B1 is the most disgusting though. I am also super busy.. Single mom of a one year old and a full time nursing student. I feel your pain! Good luck!

Thanks! Do you have any issues with nausea?

Only once... That was yesterday morning. I took my multi with some Water. I guess it got stuck. I felt like I was going to throw up and even dry heaved twice. I was driving when this happened. I pulled over and got out and circled my car a few times and I was fine after that. Sometimes I can tell they get a little stuck and I just try and drink more to push it down. I do wait a few minutes in between each pill. In that few minutes I continue taking small sips. Just to keep things flowing.

Hi, I’m new here. I’m currently on the liver shrinking diet. So far so good, but I have to say I haven’t found a protein shake I like. Anyone have any suggestions please? My surgery date is September 17th.

Fairlife Core are by far the best. They taste just as they are - chocolate milk. You can either get the 26 grams or the 42 grams (harder to find and more expensive). For straight protein look at Bulksuppliments.com ..they have really good whey proteins and offer auto ship plus they test for purity. No taste or smell...

Fairlife has strawberry, vanilla and of course chocolate. No more calories than other protein drinks. Stay away from Premiere, they're dealing with lawsuits due to not being honest about protein content.
