moorecr 70 Posted July 26, 2013 I am now 10 days post op and my family decided to take me to see a movie, to get me out of the house. I went to the movie prepared (still on all liquids) I had to sneak in some chicken broth, and Water, couple other things. But when I smelled that popcorn omg!!! it was like I felt I wasn't having the full movie experience without it. It's crazy ... The movie was good though .... Beach Lover 1,084 Posted July 26, 2013 I have been twice and yes it is very hard! The smell is just about overwhelming! I was good and didn't eat it but I think it will be one of those hard ones not matter how many times you go.

Bredred 45 Posted July 26, 2013 I've gone 3 times in the last 7 weeks (preop diet and postop). It is really hard. The thing that I've found works for me is that I bring a bottle of Water and one of the crystal light add ins. It's pretty much the only time I have them, so it feels like a treat. I also remind myself that if my 10 year old can't eat popcorn, I can't either. She has severe Crohn's Disease and popcorn is really bad for her.
