ShrinkyDinkMe101 82 Posted July 25, 2013 If you watch TV, the DVR is your friend. Just fast forward through the commercials. I am drinking lots of Water, having a shake when I get hungry (4 a day), and having a cup of chicken or beef broth at lunch and dinner. I can have a sugar free Popsicle or sugar free Jello if I want something sweet besides a shake. The key is keeping busy. And working your way through the headache. artymama 170 Posted July 25, 2013 Hate to say this.... But get used to it pre op cause you r going to be drinking lots of shakes post op. Greeknugget 56 Posted July 25, 2013 I was on a liquid diet for 3 months as part of a medically supervised diet. I would even go out to dinner with husband and drink my shake or Water while he ate. I gained all the weight back and actually didn't lose much at all (20 pounds!?). I think my body was starving as I was also working out 60-90 minutes a day. Anyway, I agree that the key is just staying busy and the first week is absolutely the hardest. After that, I was never even hungry! Good luck! Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
