mandynichole 169 Posted July 25, 2013 So I was just wondering some things, my NUT weight loss goal for me was to get to 180bs which I'm 10lbs away! Yay! BUT... I still feel "large" like I should lose more weight. Everyone is always asking me what's " my goal"? Or telling me you've lost enough... don't lose anymore... you could still lose more than that... people who've never been where we are and their opinions are driving me Crazy! I have NO idea & sometimes I think that's ok but it's still very frustrating , when am I going to feel like what ive accomplished is enough for me? Don't get me wrong I'm very happy w/my progress just frustrated. Anyone else feel this way?

No game 14,437 Posted July 25, 2013 Haha! I hate when people say that too!! Or you know your going to get loose skin.... Duh!! Well goal weight. My doctor didn't give me one. I picked a number that is in the healthy BMI range. I'd say if you want to lose a bit more and you have it on you go for it. But at the end of the day it's about comfort level, and you sound pretty happy so 10 more pounds might be perfect. 2 mandynichole and clk reacted to this
Sharon7370 6 Posted July 25, 2013 I'd say go with what makes you feel happy in yourself. Have you had the one where they say you cheated by having the operation. I got that one last week from a lady who had lost 3 stone dieting on her own (she'd put it all back on mind and I was noticeably slimmer than her) 1 Canary Diamond reacted to this
vegasneon 181 Posted July 25, 2013 I wasn't given a goal weight either. I figure play it by ear, I'll know where I want to be when I get there. I too chose from a chart of healthy weights for my height. I consider it to be a ballpark figure. Its just a number, how I feel and how clothes fit mean a lot more. 2 mandynichole and MIJourney reacted to this
Canary Diamond 186 Posted July 25, 2013 I too was never given a goal weight. I never even spoke with a nutritionist or dietician, come to think of it. I chose the weight that put me at a BMI of 22 - middle of healthy range, which for me, at nearly 5'3" is 123 lbs. However, I'll be thrilled when I get into the 150s! I trust that my body will know when it's done losing weight, assuming I'm letting it do its job by exercising, avoiding fast food, soda, etc. and not packing my sleeve to capacity at every meal. Do you feel like you were meant to be smaller? 2 sherry24184 and mandynichole reacted to this

Do you feel like you were meant to be smaller?[/quote'] I'm not sure how small I should be,I was 145 when I met my husband (when I was 16,which was 4 ever ago, I was a kid) I think I'd like myself around 165 but a mid range healthy BMI would be 145. My husband says when I get my Tummy Tuck (which I do want to do, but not too soon) that I'd probably weigh close to what I want it's just the excess skin that's weighing me down. He's so supportive I'm very lucky to have a husband who loves and supports me plus size or small! 1 Canary Diamond reacted to this
