Thanks so much! I do feel great! Ten years younger at least. I'm not at goal yet, 15lbs to go. I'm coming up on one year and I'm working hard to get to goal. I started at 251 now at 165. I have went from a 42DD bra size to a 36C and I love it. It's great to be able to buy a pretty bra! It his I'd the best thing I've ever done! I'm happy if I don't loose another lb!

So inspiring! I am a 44 DDD and can't wait to buy a bra from a regular store. My starting weight is 230 and I'm hoping to be sleeved first week in August. Insurance already approved just waiting to set a date. I hope my story has a happy ending like yours. How are girls holding up? I'm worried about excess sagging after surgery since I'm so large Pre- op

My girls! Lol don't look to bad. Nothing is where it was five years ago! I do arm weights during commercials when watching TV. I try to stay high Protein. 70 grams of protein less then 35 grams of carbs and around 900 cal. Some days I go over. If I have a bad few days, ill go back on the Protein Shake and drink only that for a few days to get the weight coming off again. It is getting harder to loose now. The only thing I have given up entirely is carbonated drinks. No bubbles for this girl! I also have great support from my husband and daughter. I truly believe this is the secret to success! Good luck to everyone and thanks for the compliments! I feel great!!!!

Day 1 of pre-op liquid diet (3 weeks) and I'm having a hard time already. I feel hungry and just want to eat. I got the protein and supplements recommend by my program and having a hard time getting 1 down. My doctor / nutritionist has me on the following:
1 protein shake (bariatric advantage chocolate) with 8 oz of fat free milk 1 snack = 1 unjury protein shake (root beer) 1 protein shake (bariatric advantage orange cream) 1 snack = 1 unjury protein bar 1 protein shake (bariatric advantace orange cream or chocolate) 1 snack = 1 unjury protein soup (chicken) 3 servings of sugar free jello and popsicles throughout the day. 64 oz of water (I have flavor packets). Hot tea and coffee with splenda has been approved as well. Does anyone recommend anything for the next 3 weeks?

All I can tell you is that for me, it got easier after the first week. The hunger pains got less intense and I kind of got used to it and gave up torturing myself by thinking about food. But if you can, get anything tempting out of the house and avoid being around people who are eating. I sent my kids to my parents' house for two weeks so I wouldn't have to prepare meals I couldn't eat. After surgery, the hunger was totally gone.

I have my final approval from my insurance, only thing holding up things is one last x-ray needed, which I have scheduled for the fourth of next month, which is my birthday.
