sheilarae 84 Posted July 23, 2013 Is 1cup mushy food different than 1cup solid food? I'm 2months out and am having trouble switching from soft to solid. Never hungry but am always thirsty. Before the sleeve I drank 12 cups of Water. Not diabetic just live water!
mariamitani 405 Posted July 23, 2013 yes the solid food is more dense and hits your stomach like a rock. try chewing more and/or adding something to moisten it like Mayonnaise, chicken broth, marinara sauce , Salad Dressing what ever works for you.
sheilarae 84 Posted July 23, 2013 Ill try that thanks. The only solids I eat so far are scrambled eggs and deli turkey. Tried hamburger and it came right up.
Pixie Dust 526 Posted July 23, 2013 I've heard that if you mix cheese into your egg as you're scrambling it in the pan, the egg comes out softer so it's easier to eat. I haven't tried that yet but heard it at one of my support group meetings. Good luck to you! 1 Txcowgurl reacted to this
