That's awesome!! I am having the same problem with the Protein powders. Where did you get the low cal powdered Peanut Butter?

Walmart in the peanut butter section. I just stumbled upon it. If you find something that works...please share. I wish you a speedy recovery! :-)

Thanks! Ill have to look for it. I've found using sugar free hot chocolate with a little chocolate Unjury isn't too bad. I just got approved to move onto puréed foods so hopefully fruit smoothies will mask some of the Protein flavor. I've also been eating Dannon Light n Fit Greek Yogurt... It's low cal and has 12g of protein so if I have two of those a day it's better than nothing.

I'm gagging on just the smell of the Protein Powder. I don't know how to get enough calories in. I don't want to puke. I am not hungry at all. This is wild. I pray for the day I can begin to eat normal food. Thank you.

Have you tried sprinkling the Unjury unflavored into your foods?

Yeah, but nothing I've eaten has been strong enough to mask the Protein taste to me. Closest thing to edible was applesauce with extra cinnamon to cover the taste.

It's an unflavored Protein powder. I bought in online.

Can you put it on anything?

Yes. I like it because you can make your own kind of drink and it doesn't need to be super sweet. I add stevia to my sweet level. I've tried adding it to soup....no bueno. Lol

Bgood,

We have a carb esccentials store near us. That is where I get mine. Unflavored Unjury has 23 grams of Protein per scoop. So you can mix it with pretty much anything. For Protein Drinks I like the vanilla unjury mixed with the choc chike Protein Drink.< /p>

Day 1 of pre-op liquid diet (3 weeks) and I'm having a hard time already. I feel hungry and just want to eat. I got the protein and supplements recommend by my program and having a hard time getting 1 down. My doctor / nutritionist has me on the following:
1 protein shake (bariatric advantage chocolate) with 8 oz of fat free milk 1 snack = 1 unjury protein shake (root beer) 1 protein shake (bariatric advantage orange cream) 1 snack = 1 unjury protein bar 1 protein shake (bariatric advantace orange cream or chocolate) 1 snack = 1 unjury protein soup (chicken) 3 servings of sugar free jello and popsicles throughout the day. 64 oz of water (I have flavor packets). Hot tea and coffee with splenda has been approved as well. Does anyone recommend anything for the next 3 weeks?

All I can tell you is that for me, it got easier after the first week. The hunger pains got less intense and I kind of got used to it and gave up torturing myself by thinking about food. But if you can, get anything tempting out of the house and avoid being around people who are eating. I sent my kids to my parents' house for two weeks so I wouldn't have to prepare meals I couldn't eat. After surgery, the hunger was totally gone.

I have my final approval from my insurance, only thing holding up things is one last x-ray needed, which I have scheduled for the fourth of next month, which is my birthday.
