misslady 130 Posted July 23, 2013 We all know this journey is just as much about the head journey as the scale journey. Today the head journey is winning! Thinking that my weight loss has stopped or being severly altered at just 9 weeks post op. I have lost 45 pounds since surgery pre op on 05052013. This month so far just 8 pounds.. I had a low bmi but wondering is this it? It can't be I know. I try not to be a slave to the scale but I weigh myself at least 3 or more times a week. Trying to be patient but just wondering what is the earliest someone has stopped losing? How could the weight loss slow down so quick! Sure this is my first sign of slowing but the head is messing with me. So glad to be in ONDERLAND for the first time in over 20 years and I only have 15 pounds for my goal and 25 for the doctors goal. So maybe it will continue to trickle on down. If I cold just throw that damn scale away and get out of my head urrrgggg. Any thoughts or comments would be appreciated today. When did you notice your weight loss was starting to really slow down? Territravel 217 Posted July 23, 2013 Calm down, take a deep breath. You won't stop losing at 9 weeks. The less you have to lose, the slower it comes off. I would suggest putting the scale away. Weigh and measure once a week. You didn't gain all the weight in a few weeks, you wont lose it all in a few weeks.
