Here's one that I remember because there was a member who has remorse.....it's important to see the good, the bad, and the ugly (IMVHO)

Thanks Patty! I did just read them all, I feel very bad for the one lady that totally regrets it..I have been fat my whole life, Im done! Im 42 and really haven't started living, Id give my left arm to be able to bend over to paint my toe nails or better yet, not break out in a sweat while walking. Im just finished with this nonsense and allowing food to control my life. I wish I would have found out about this ten years ago! Tuesday is the big day for me, I am scared but excited as well! Im ready to start the next journey

7 weeks post op and regret-free!

I felt the same way - I was terrified! But now I am 9 weeks post op and love it:) No regrets. It was very hard for me for the first 4 weeks or so, but that was attributed to healing, getting tired of the liquids/purees and I had gallbladder surgery at 3 weeks post op. I got through it and now I'm on the other side. I started my pre-op on 5/15 at 244 lbs., surgery was 5/22 and I am now at 196! 48 pounds gone and I feel so much better!

I'm at 2 months out, and very happy with my decision. It was rough at first, but it gets better.

That, too, is totally normal. I cried when he lady came to do my IV, I cried in pre op, and I cried on the operating table just because I was scared to death. Everyone was so nice and understanding and encouraging. They understood how I felt.
