flyme_places 99 Posted July 23, 2013 My second night home after having surgery on Friday and I hate my couch already. Getting out of my bed was painful yesterday so I'm hoping sleeping on my bed won't be as painful tonight. I guess we will see in the morning.
JSCRIMPSHIRE 56 Posted July 23, 2013 My second night home after having surgery on Friday and I hate my couch already. Getting out of my bed was painful yesterday so I'm hoping sleeping on my bed won't be as painful tonight. I guess we will see in the morning. Congratulations to you! The first week was very painful for me. No position really helped either. But after that first week everything got so much better each day.... 1 Cheer Mama reacted to this
PaulaJ 35 Posted July 23, 2013 I am 7 days post-op and I've been sleeping in my recliner all week. I can't get out of my bed without help. I made the mistake of laying on the bed today when no one was home it took me 30 minutes to wiggle my way to the edge and get up. Sadly my cell phone was across the room. 1 Cheer Mama reacted to this

flyme_places 99 Posted July 23, 2013 I've found that laying on my right side is doable. I have one blanket kinda under my stomach to keep it from pulling on my left side. But I have a feeling that my right hip will be complaining in the morning. I guess we will see how it goes. I thought I wouldn't have a problem on my recliner since I slept in it for two weeks after I had my c section but what a difference 6 years make.
