I'm starting my preop diet this week and I'm tasting Proteins so far I really dislike the premium chocolate its too thick... I don't know much about Protein can anyone suggest Protein shakes?? Thank you I like premiere Protein Shakes in chocolate. I think they taste like a fudgecicle. They have 160 calories and 30 grams of protein. I drank them pre-op and just started the full liquid stage of post op and they are still really good! If you have a BJ's or Sam's club where you live you can get a case of 12 for 17.99. Good luck to you!!

Bufflehead 6,358 Posted July 21, 2013 If you dislike the thick Protein Shakes, you may want to try Syntrax Nectar flavors such as Roadhouse Lemonade, Iced Tea, and Fuzzy Navel -- very light and you mix them with cold Water.< /p> You can get a sample pack from BJ's Bariatrics here: http://www.bjsbariatrics.com/product/synSamplePack.html And from some other places as well. I really recommend holding off on buying full tubs of Protein Powder until after surgery because it is really true, you may like something beforehand and hate it after! That happened to me. 1 DonRodolfo reacted to this
mokee 588 Posted July 21, 2013 Try Isopure ready to drink from the Vitamin Shoppe. All I have tasted so far are good. The coconut is really good. It is more of a kook aid consistency. Wish I had known about these in the beginning. 1 judysbabies reacted to this
Gburto3 15 Posted July 21, 2013 So far my favorite Protein is the Gladiator from smoothie king. I bought myself a tub of teh chocolate, I add almonds to it and bananas to it at home with a tsp. of almond extract. Tastes like a chocolate wedding cake. Now this may be biased bc i havent had anything really sweet in a long time but you should go to smoothie king and buy a 20oz one and try it. its 45g of protein

DorothyGale 8 Posted July 21, 2013 chocolate Splendor Unjury is very good. I also use the chicken Soup and the unflavored to add to other Soups, pudding, etc. I am only at the beginning of this journey, but I have also been impressed by Unjury's swift delivery and customer service along with the recipes on their website.
