NikkiC 37 Posted July 20, 2013 Has anyone tried those body wraps that seem to be all the rage these days? I see people promoting them all over FB, etc. If you have, please tell me about your experience. I heard a lot of people say it's only temporary, fine with me, I wear make up, curl my hair, shave, have my eyebrows threaded, etc. What's the difference? All of the things I've just listed are temporary, but it makes me feel better in the moment. If these body wraps deliver results, even for a few hours, sign me up: especially for beach days/special occasions... 1 Nesa reacted to this
NoneYa 380 Posted July 20, 2013 I've used them. They remove Water from the tissues and do cause a loss of a few inches for a few hours. They are very expensive for a day though, about 100.00 or the belly wraps. I had a house full of ladies here about a year ago. We all tried it ( i did the face wrap as well). When they came off and we measured there was a difference right away. By morning the effect was gone and we began calling them rips instead of wraps. Thy went into the "never again" pile in my house. 1 TES reacted to this
TES 858 Posted July 20, 2013 they dehydrate you so the loss is temporary--the last thing a dieter and/or sleever needs is dehydration....
