How is everyone's energy level. I've been back to work for 1 week and I have to go sit down after walking around for a few minutes. I had to lay down after combing my daughter's hair this morning. I am taking my Vitamins and getting in about 65 g of Protein. How is everybody else? Surgery was July 24, 21lb down

I was sleeved on July 30th. I didn't bounce back as fast as I anticipated but yesterday was a very good day. I've lost 19 so far. I'm having a hard time getting my Protein and Water in for the day but I'm working hard on it. I will return to work on Monday the 12th. Oh what a journey this will be!

I was sleeved on July 15 starting weight 305 and 285 the day of surgery. I'm 264 today. I still can't believe I've lost 40lbs. I have trouble getting in all my Protein. I just can't do shakes anymore. The taste just makes me nauseous. Besides that no complaints. Best decision I ever made.

Sleeve revision on July 15th, pre surgery weight 208 as of today 183, probably a couple pounds less if it weren't for that time of month! The first couple weeks you are so tired, but don't feel discouraged! By week 4 you will feel a lot better. Being able to eat regular foods really does help. I noticed someone said they couldn't do the Protein, I couldn't either. I got so tired of them when I had the band that they just make me sick now! I would suggest focusing on staying hydrated more than anything because that is actually more important anyways. If you can do that and then get to your purée stage, you should be good :)

Day 1 of pre-op liquid diet (3 weeks) and I'm having a hard time already. I feel hungry and just want to eat. I got the protein and supplements recommend by my program and having a hard time getting 1 down. My doctor / nutritionist has me on the following:
1 protein shake (bariatric advantage chocolate) with 8 oz of fat free milk 1 snack = 1 unjury protein shake (root beer) 1 protein shake (bariatric advantage orange cream) 1 snack = 1 unjury protein bar 1 protein shake (bariatric advantace orange cream or chocolate) 1 snack = 1 unjury protein soup (chicken) 3 servings of sugar free jello and popsicles throughout the day. 64 oz of water (I have flavor packets). Hot tea and coffee with splenda has been approved as well. Does anyone recommend anything for the next 3 weeks?

All I can tell you is that for me, it got easier after the first week. The hunger pains got less intense and I kind of got used to it and gave up torturing myself by thinking about food. But if you can, get anything tempting out of the house and avoid being around people who are eating. I sent my kids to my parents' house for two weeks so I wouldn't have to prepare meals I couldn't eat. After surgery, the hunger was totally gone.

I have my final approval from my insurance, only thing holding up things is one last x-ray needed, which I have scheduled for the fourth of next month, which is my birthday.
