TracyV 0 Posted January 5, 2007 Can your partner feel it? I dont have a Significant other, but I am sure I will in the near future, and I dont know if I would share my secret...so is it obvious...also, does EVERYONE experience the gurglie noises? DO TELL:confused:
ReneBean 3 Posted January 6, 2007 My port is well below the surface - no problem there. I expect yours will be, too - unless you happen to have a very flat belly. As for the gurglie noises - uh - yeah. Sometimes I gurgle... loud. Mostly only when I eat or drink anything... but Yep - gurgling is pretty normal.
Poodles 0 Posted January 6, 2007 I can feel my port if I push on it, but unless you go, "hey honey feel this..." I don't think the other person will notice.
stacyrtl 0 Posted January 6, 2007 What is that all about? I don't remember reading anything about stomach gurgling! Could someone please tell me what that is all about? I am scheduled for surgery later this month. Is it painful? Or just imbarassing?
siyah 0 Posted January 6, 2007 I had MAJOR gurgling for the first 3-4 days. Really loud at first, then they lessen. Not painful at all, a little uncomfortable, mostly embarassing if you care about it. My husband was more amused/concerned than anything.
QTkidsmom 0 Posted January 7, 2007 I do not have a flat tummy by any means but I can easily feel my port when I touch the site. My doctor said this is because I have a "thin" abdominal wall (glad something can be called thin on me). However, as easily as it can be felt with the hand, my husband assures me that it is not noticed when we are intimate. In fact, he said that if he did not know what it was he probably wouldn't find it odd if he felt it. It is not rock hard because it kinda sinks under pressure.
