phantompouch 19 Posted July 18, 2013 Hi...let me know what your thoughts are......? I have the proedure next week in NYC at Mount Sinai Hospital......I started the process in October,,,I found the whole team wonderful thus far.......initially, I explored going to Mexico however, after doing serious research on a particular 'surgeon' who advertises on this website...I decided with complete due diligence NOT to go there and to that 'surgeon' in Mexico.... IT is most important that when you search for a bariatric surgeon...... you look clearly at the surgeon's training and post graduate training and years of experience and a Fellowship( usually, takes two to three years) after residency.......wishing you all the very best....... liadiva 0 Posted March 17, 2016 @@bandedgorJESS I was lapbanded by Dr Hollis in 2011. I didn't have any drastic results with my band. I will complete my last nut appointment on 4/1/16. How are you currently doing on the sleeve? Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App
