C_TimesThree 64 Posted August 5, 2013 How are things with you now? Somewhat better, I've been in serious pain and just feeling like crap the last few days. I had to have a new PICC placed Thursday because I couldn't get blood return on my old one. I also had a CT, the DR saw even more progress with my leak and has allowed me to advance my diet to mushy foods. I was taken back into surgery that night and a drain was placed, my surgeon also attempted to repair the leak with glue but it did not hold. I had a PICC placed the 6th and have been NPO since the 5th. It's really a waiting game trying to get my body to heal and my white blood cell count under control so I can go home. This is horrible, I wouldn't wish it on my worst enemy.[/quote'] Hi, Just want to say hey!! I hear you and know these struggles. I am a leak survivor as well. I am 8 months out and still healing properly from the leak. Please know that things can and will get better. I know the challenges so intimately. I am wishing you nothing but the very best. I am so so so thankful and cannot wait to have my life ALL the way back!!
