Are fat people unattractive and unpoluar?

I know I don't feel good about myself at almost 100 lbs overweight. I was always skinny as a child, and medium as an adult. Due to two car accidents, sleep apnea, and underactive thyroid, etc, I started putting on weight. I hurt all the time from the negative affects of two car accidents, and honestly, I just didn't have energy and didn't want to move for fear of increasing pain. A lot of doctors and nurses seem to think that if you're overweight now, that you've always been this way. Or like one doctor said, that I had a pre-disposition to be large. NOT TRUE. I have a major in dance(ballet & modern) in college, always in jog classes, weight lifting classes, because I knew that sitting and reading text books throughout my time in college had to be balanced by some type of fitness/exercise.

It seems there are biases and prejudices everywhere, and I find it particularly appalling from so called educated people (like doctors and nurses, and other health care providers). WHAT IN THE WORLD ARE THEY THINKING???
