Supersweetums 1,164 Posted July 18, 2013 Because I don't eat Breakfast on a fast day, I actually go 15-16 hours for my first "rest" period. Then I eat lunch at around 12 or 1, then supper around 6 and then sometimes a snack around 8. Then I try to go another 12 hours between the snack and when I have my breakfast the next morning, but sometimes it is a little less. But I did read the most optimal time that sees the best result is the 36 hour fast window with the 2 12 hour fasts in between there. So I think it is fine if you are eating over a 12 hour period, as long as you are getting a 12 hour rest before and after.
