I got my sleeve 6/7. Anyway, I went on vacation a week ago and when I got back I had lost 6lbs!!! It was hard but I can't say I've ever gone on a trip and come back lighter!!! :0)))))

Congrats!! I had my surgery on June 10th. How have you been doing? It's nice to have someone that's surgery day is close to mine.

Good for you! My daughter and I do all inclusive every year, this year we went to Mexico. food paradise and drink paradise! I was thinking about next year, will it suck!

It hasn't been easy for me.... But it is getting easier. The biggest thing about eating for me is having to wait to burp between every couple of bites.... :0)

The thing of it is is that you can't think of it as 'sucking'. I have caught myself several times thinking "what I wouldn't do for.....". But you know what? I had this surgery so that I wouldn't be that slave to food... food doesn't taste the same way to me now. If I know that I will hurt after eating something, then it isn't worth the pain.

Very true, I used to live to eat, now I will eat to live. I am getting excited! Thinking of being more confident, is so awesome. Starting to try Protein Shakes this week just to see what they are like.
