TwinsMama 483 Posted July 15, 2013 I was told post-op I could have regular Tylenol for pain (outside my prescriptions). I would check with your Dr. first. Feel better soon!
DeniseM 238 Posted July 15, 2013 Since you are only 5 days post-op, you really should call your doctor. I was told I could take liquid Tylenol at two weeks post-op, and my doctor gave me the specific dose I needed for my weight.
melissa130 135 Posted July 15, 2013 Call your doctor. Get a heating pad. Acetaminophen (Tylenol) is one of the main ingredients in Lortabs. If the strong Lortabs don't help you - regular Tylenol will not help. You need to be taking your regular meds too-- nobody likes crushed pills. But not taking your medications is a terrible idea. You really should commit to doing everything your doctors ask you to do and take what you are supposed to.

This happened to me 2 weeks out and I thought I might lose my mind for how awful I felt. a heating pad and sleep were my best friends and full sugar popsicles. You should call you doc about what to do for pain though. GOOD LUCK! ((((((hugs))))))
shelbyschroepfer 35 Posted July 16, 2013 Another menstrual question, after surgery did your flow pick up ALOT? I used to bleed for maybe a full day and half of a night. Not even enough for 3 tampons, and now it's constant and very bright in color, should I be concerned? I have been anemic since surgery also SW: 324 DOSW: 322 CW: 315 surgery date-7/10/13 Sent from my iPhone using VST
thedivinemsQ 89 Posted July 16, 2013 You could ask you doc about it. Just remember that your hormones are wacky with all the changes in your body, so your cycle is bound to change. If you're anemic, find out from you doc when you can start Iron supplements. I was told week five, but every doc is different. The iron will make you feel much better!
