Came to hospital for 6 am but they didn't take me back till like 9am. Got my medicine and it was lights out! Don't remember anything besides waking up in pain just burning in my chest. I was able to sleep for an hour and woke up feeling better. Just got finished walking down the hall!

Yah! Push the pain pump button IF you need it. We will never judge. ;) I'm 3 weeks out and lost 24lbs. After the 1st week I missed chewing and swallowing. But after the 2nd week I could have baby foods and that made me happy. Now this week it's Fork soft foods. I have no regrets. I just have to remember to sip ALL THE TIME and walk. You're on your way. Yah!!!!!

Thanks guys I'm feeling so much better than I expected. My chest and stomach feels sore but thats really where my pain is and getting up and down. i do have this small tube coming out of one incision that is like a pain ball I don't have to press it because its constant. But that is annoying. Doesn't really hurt and I know it's there to help but I don't really like having something hanging out of my tummy lol I just got home so I'm just trying to relax

That darn thing was my worst part too after surgery, and I had to keep it for 10 days, went home with it! Felt soooooo much better when doc took it out, I am 5 weeks out now, and doing pretty well. Just trying to get my head in line with my new little pouch.

I was sleeved on the 11 of this month the only pain that I have had is in my wounds, no gas pain , I can drink up to 6 oz no problem. I'm on full liquids which I feel more satisfied the first 3 days I was so hungry , couldn't drink the Isopure liquid it was nasty , I'm drinking the premier chocolate Protein not so good but I have to ,

Waiting for my Unjury chocolate splendor and. The unflavored one hopefully taste better , the problem that I have is that I hate artificial sweeteners ,

But so far I'm happy I was expecting to be worse but thanks God not bad at all only when I caugh .

I was sleeved at kaiser with dr Casillas it was a good experience no. Regrets till now.

Hi everyone! I’m brand new here. I just went through all my pre-op requirements per my insurance company and now everything has been submitted and I’m just waiting for final approval and my surgery date. I’ve been doing research, watching YouTube videos, TikTok’s, ect.. trying to prepare my mind and what to expect so I’ll be ready for the surgery. I was so sure and so set and so ready and excited. However, now that I’ve done everything & it’s almost here, I am sooooooo scared! I know why I want it bc I’ve tried everything and I just don’t feel like I can lose weight by myself. I’m tired of being overweight my entire life. I’m miserable, but I keep psyching myself out afraid of GERD bc I know how that can be and I don’t want to have to get a bypass after already gaining the courage to even get VSG. I’m scared of complications like I’mgoing to regret doing it and be depressed that I didn’t just be more disciplined and try again to lose the weight on my own even sitting here typing this knowing in my mind i just can’t and don’t possess the discipline. I’m also afraid I won’t be able to handle the restrictions of the sleeve. What do I eat? I don’t know how to eat healthy really and don’t enjoy healthy food. I don’t know how to do this! I feel so defeated!Someone tell me they felt anything similar to this or am I not ready? I thought I was. I am so tired of being sick and tired and so tired of myself and so tired of being stuck and stuck in this body and somebody different on the outside from what I feel inside. I just want to ball up and cry.

The 14th was my day. I am home and recovery is going pretty smooth. They even let me walk out of the hospital. Picture of me in recovery curtesy of my boyfriend lol.

Neat you have a pic of this day! I was sooo happy to get my surgery. It was well worth it! And I'm not even near my goal. I had surgery Dec. 2!
