ImLooznit 171 Posted October 9, 2013 Oh I'm glad you posted this! I haven't tried them post Op. My tummy is so sensitive. Plus I'm not a fan of vomiting. I feel like I'm the only one on here that isn't jumping for joy. My tummy still aches after 10 days. My doc says it's the nerves, but I'm so sick of taking the medicine they gave me. It puts me into a deep slumber. Although I do like that, but I feel like my life is slipping away. Please just try to get in your Protein, Even if it is just your Protein Drinks. DO NOT try protein SHOTS.. to me they tasted like PUKE anyway, I bought a case, and they are still in refrig after 2 years in garage,,, Slow down and get in all the Water and Liquid Protein that you can..... Missj9 42 Posted October 9, 2013 The random PAINS WILL Disappear. It takes your BODY time to HEAL I am battling pain on my right side when I lay down. I haven't been able to sleep and finally put the two together and realize I'm moving in my sleep and the pain in waking me up. I really thought the pain was pretty much over and this just started about three days ago. Thank you for clarifying what is happening. I've been trying to look back and figure out what I did wrong. Now I will just keep looking forward!
valkyrea 41 Posted October 9, 2013 I was nauseous until I hit three weeks out from surgery. Keep taking your meds, and all of a sudden you will feel better one day. I throw up when I take my meds I am feeling horrible, 2.5 weeks out.
quinn 8 Posted October 9, 2013 valky - Maybe call your surgeon's office and speak with a nurse. I was able to keep my meds down. Take care.
LoryLosesXS 154 Posted October 9, 2013 I throw up when I take my meds I am feeling horrible' date=' 2.5 weeks out.[/quote'] I have learned that if I hold my breath during the whole time I'm taking my liquid pain medication, swallow quickly then swish Water around in my mouth and spit it out I do better. The smell is what gags me. I do the same if in drinking something I can smell the Protein in, which makes me gag too. Smell is a huge factor for me. I'm hyper sensitive. Again I don't breath during the whole time until I think most of the taste is out of my mouth. I hope that helps.
forward thinner 11 Posted October 9, 2013 I was sleeved on 9/16, and I have lost 50lbs total. I have much more to lose than many of you, I think that's why it's going faster. I am SURE it will slow. Doctor said the first few months would be the fastest. 1 Rach34 reacted to this

He said to not worry. I had lost 27 in the month prior to surgery. I'm noticing my lounge pants going further and further up my waste. Lol. Celebrate your wins! You deserve to regardless of your starting weight. :-). Congratulations!!! We've taken drastic measures to get our health back regardless of our preOp weight. Best to you!!!! 2 Roxiaa and ImLooznit reacted to this
