leigh1111 53 Posted July 15, 2013 Feel bad right now shaky heart pounding idk if not enough fluids today I hate this feeling it makes me wish I never had the surgery Sent from my iPhone using VST I know what you mean. Although I get enough Protein my sugar gets low. I am diabetic and I've realizes that along with Protein I also need some carbs. I had a spell yesterday which does feel horrible and found that my sugar was low so I ate a few carbs and felt tons better. I focus on protein but I also have to have some carbs for my blood sugar. Also I've been dehydrated before and that was miserable....tired and weak but not as shaky as with low bloods. Good luck!
AngelNP 40 Posted July 15, 2013 Trust and believe you will change your mind about your surgery and will love your results. The best way to get Protein is a Protein Shake. I use Myofusion from West Coast Nutrition 39 gram+ protein, 9 carbs, 3 sugars. I use unsweetened vanilla almond milk (30 calories). You can have this three times a day along with your meals. I don't know what stage you are in...if you can have solid foods or not. If not, then use the protein shake more often. Don't forget to get your Water intake! With an increase in protein you want to keep your kidneys flushed so you don't get stones. I believe you will feel much better very soon. I promise you...you'll love your results. Just patience grass hopper! Sincerely, Jen
GypsyQueen 198 Posted July 15, 2013 I am sorry you are having these issues ladies. Milk has been my savior, as both a liquid and a Protein. I hope things get better for you.

Getting in your fluids will help you feel much better. It this continues please call your Dr. It could be something serious. I hope you feel better. Remember it gets easier. Hang in there.
